Overview

This website is designed with privacy as a core principle. All data is processed and stored exclusively in Switzerland, on infrastructure operated by Exoscale (Switzerland) or on our own servers. No data is transferred outside of Switzerland.

  • No cookies are used on this website.
  • No tracking scripts or third-party analytics tools are embedded.
  • No personal data is collected automatically beyond standard server logs.

Server Logs

As with virtually every website, the following technical data is temporarily stored in server logs when you visit this site:

  • IP address
  • Date and time of access
  • Requested URL and HTTP method
  • HTTP status code
  • Browser identifier (User-Agent)
  • Referrer URL

This data is used to ensure the security and stability of the website. We may also use this data in anonymized or aggregated form for statistical analysis, such as identifying traffic patterns and popular content. In such cases, IP addresses are removed before analysis and no individual user profiles are created. Log files are automatically rotated and deleted after approximately two weeks.

Contact Form

When you use our contact form, the data you submit (name, email address, company, and message) is stored for the sole purpose of responding to your inquiry. We do not share this data with third parties.

Form data is retained for as long as necessary to resolve the inquiry and thereafter deleted, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Analytics

We currently do not use any analytics tools. Should we introduce analytics in the future, we will use a self-hosted solution (such as Plausible Analytics) that operates without cookies and does not track individuals across websites. We will update this policy accordingly before any such change takes effect.

Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on infrastructure in Switzerland, operated either by Exoscale or on our own servers. We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

Your Rights

Under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG), you have the right to:

  • Request information about whether personal data concerning you is being processed.
  • Request rectification of incorrect personal data.
  • Request a copy of your personal data in a common electronic format.
  • Request prohibition of the processing of your personal data.
  • Request prohibition of disclosure of your personal data to third parties.
  • Request erasure or destruction of your personal data.

To exercise any of these rights, please use our contact page or refer to our imprint for further contact details.

We will respond to your request within 30 days.

The competent supervisory authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, https://www.edoeb.admin.ch.

This policy may change as the website evolves. The current version is always available here.
